About check-in and check-out
- Can I check in earlier than the standard time?
- Yes, we can accommodate early check-in from 14:00 (one hour before the standard check-in time) for an additional charge of ¥4,400 (tax included).
Please note that availability depends on the reservation status. We kindly ask that you contact us in advance to confirm. - Can I extend my check-out time?

Yes, we offer late checkout extensions up to 13:00 (a maximum of 2 hours from the standard check-out time) for ¥4,400 (tax included) per hour.

About guest rooms
- Can I request a specific room on the day of arrival?
- Room allocation depends on availability on the day of your arrival.
We appreciate your understanding that we may not always be able to fulfill specific requests. - What is the view from the Standard room type?
- Unfortunately, all Standard type rooms are located on the first floor and do not offer a view due to the building structure.
If you would like to consider a different room type, we recommend choosing a room with "River" in its name, which offer scenic views. We hope this information is helpful.
About dining
- Can I add dinner to my reservation?
- Yes, you can. We offer dinner in two seatings at 18:00 or 19:30, and reservations must be made in advance. Please note that the restaurant may reach full capacity, so we appreciate early notification of your needs.
- Is there a dinner menu?

"Wood-fired Course Cuisine" All-Inclusive Dinner
Price: ¥14,850 per person (tax and service charge included)
Content: A wood-fired course featuring both Japanese and Western-inspired dishes
*Beverages during dinner are included in the above price

Yes, we offer the following children's dinner menu options:
① Kids Hamburger Plate ¥2,000 each (tax included)
(Similar to a children's lunch set.)
Contents: Hamburger steak, fried shrimp, vegetables, rice, corn soup
Allergens: Eggs, wheat, shellfish, dairy products, rice
② Kids Fish Plate ¥2,000 each (tax included)
(For children who prefer fish over meat.)
Contents: Steamed fish, vegetables, rice, corn soup
Allergens: Soy, wheat, dairy products, rice
③ Baby Risotto ¥600 each (tax included)
(Even children who are being weaned can enjoy this menu.)
Contents: Vegetable and cheese risotto (1 children's rice bowl serving)
Allergens: Dairy products, rice
④ Baby Curry ¥600 each (tax included)
(Portion size for children past the weaning stage but smaller than children's lunch.)
Contents: Mild vegetable curry (served on a children's plate)

Yes, we offer a celebration plate. We prepare a dessert plate with a cookie stamped with "Happy Birthday" to serve with your dinner.
There is no additional charge for this service.
Please note that the message is a standard text and we are unable to add names to it. - Can I order an anniversary cake?

Yes, you can. Cakes are 10.5 cm in diameter, ¥5,000 each (tax included), available in fresh cream or chocolate.
We can add a message plate of your choice, such as "Happy Birthday + Your Name".
Cake arrangements must be made at least 5 days in advance. Please inform us of your preferences ahead of time.
About hotel facilities
- How do I use the sauna?

We offer 3 types of private saunas with different concepts. They are available by advance reservation only for 90-minute sessions.
Please let us know which sauna room and what time you prefer.
Please note that availability depends on other guests' reservations and we may not always be able to accommodate your preferred time. We appreciate your early booking. - Do you have a hot spring or public bath?
- Unfortunately, we do not have a hot spring or public bath.
About access
- How do I get here by train?
- Our hotel is located approximately 7 minutes' walk from the Eizan Electric Railway "Yase-Hieizanguchi" Station.
From the downtown Kyoto area, we recommend taking the Keihan Line to Demachiyanagi Station, then transferring to the Eizan Electric Railway for a smooth journey.
The route from the station involves crossing a suspension bridge that may not appear on map applications. If possible, please call us when you arrive at the station, and we will be happy to guide you. - How do I get here by bus?
- Our hotel is located approximately 7 minutes' walk from the Kyoto Bus "Yase Ekimae" bus stop.
From Kyoto Station, board Route 17 or Special Route 17 at the Kyoto Station bus stop "C3 (heading toward Ohara/Kokusai-kaikan Station)". - How do I get here by taxi?
- When taking a taxi, please tell the driver the hotel name along with "Rurikoin" as a landmark, which will help them locate us more easily.
From Kyoto Station via taxi, it takes approximately 40 minutes from the Central Exit (Kyoto Tower side) taxi stand.

- We offer a shuttle service from the Kyoto City Subway "Kokusai-kaikan" Station to the hotel by advance reservation. The available departure times are 14:30, 15:30, or 16:30. Please let us know your preferred time and the number of passengers.
On the day of your reservation, please exit from Exit 3 of the station and proceed about 70 meters to your right to the bus waiting area. A white vehicle with our hotel logo will pick you up.
Please note that the shuttle service may be temporarily suspended depending on traffic conditions or seasonal events. - Can you arrange a taxi for me?
- Yes, we can arrange this for you.
- Is there a parking lot?
- Yes, we have parking spaces for approximately 25 vehicles.

- Yes, you can. Whether before check-in or after check-out, we can provide parking for sightseeing within walking distance of the hotel, depending on availability on the day.
